I sometimes find that a web page thinks that there are outstanding changes that need to be committed before it can be
closed. Sometimes it gets in a twist!

I don’t mind setting my preferences the first time I visit a site. But to be asked time after time is tedious – maybe there is
a way to overcome this issue.
You can block cookies, but this may stop the sites from working as expected!

I’m sure that there are other add-ons available, but how much do you trust the add-on?

Companies prefer you to use their apps rather than web-based access. But they often need a later version of the OS than
you have. If you review the app, it may be reported that it fails.

Car companies want you to use their ‘connect’ systems on your phone so that you can link to the car from anywhere –
WHY.

I’ve tried to find out what VW uses the data for – but the answers are all rather ‘waffly’.

If they were 100% clear about what they do with it, I’d be happy – but I guess some data is being passed on to insurance
companies etc.
