The second part of Alan’s presentation looked at the new Windows 11.
You will all probably be aware that even though Microsoft stated that Windows 10 would be the last incarnation
of Windows and only new updates would follow, along comes Windows 11, an entirely new beast.
As with Windows 10, users can update to the new Windows 11 for free for a limited period. But here comes the
rub. All older machines and many modern ones cannot run the operating system in its current guise. Why? All
will be revealed.
The new operating system was released with all the usual Microsoft fanfare in October 2021andif you own a
machine that has the specific hardware requirements, it is probably worth the upgrade.
