2021 Meetings

We still need your suggestions for possible topics please let us know what you would like us
to try and put an together for future meeting. We have currently run out of ideas for next
year so please give it some thought and let us know what your ideas are.

2021 Photo Competition

We have decided to keep the same topics for this years competition so if you managed to take any
photographs for last year you can still use them this year.

The categories for this year’s competition are –

1. Tryptich

2. Seascape

3. Anything with Wheels

4. Windows

5. Vignette

6. Weather

Remember, each member can enter a maximum of three photographs in each category.

Last Month….

My aging Dell Inspiron 1525 laptop bought some years ago when Windows Vista was being hawked about
by the Microsoft marketing team, has been lying around for some time now. I upgraded it to Windows 7 a
few years ago and it ran okay, albeit a bit slow. Pretty well everything seemed to work okay and it was
quite useful for the odd presentation. Windows 10 came on the scene with a free update offer on Windows
7 machines. A chance too good to be missed I thought.

The upshot was that on the plus side it loaded. On the minus side it ran like a two-legged donkey – even the
three-legged versions were swift in comparison. So back we went to a reinstall of Windows 7, another
