LibraOffice, probably the world’s best free open-source office package around has a busy army of
coders who regularly update this outstanding Office Suite. This latest incarnation has been updated
with a host of improvements to make it even more user friendly. A lot of the improvements affect
background processes to boosts the suites speed and stability. While others improve the compatibility
with Windows Office files.
This version offers you a dark theme, a pop-up list of menu commands and a new list view for
browsing templates.

Writer now lets you add links in tables of contents and indices. A very handy option for navigating
long documents. Background fills that cover the whole page extending beyond the margins have also
been incorporated.
Calc now has a new Auto Filter option that lets you filter by text colour or background colour and
can be found in the Data Menu. To make things easier to see and navigate, a new “fat cross” curser
that can be turned on in the Options, has been added.

Impress and Draw now feature the new templates and Text boxes now offer multiple columns in
each box
