The newsletter had been well received by members
10. Recruitment & Retention.
Members considered how the club may best promote itself to gain new members. Various advertising ideas were
put forward. Barry Gilchrist agreed to put an advert in the Waltham parish newsletter. Other avenues will be fol-
lowed up as they present themselves. Membership is key to the club’s survival.
11. Feedback On The Previous Year’s Programme & Future Topics
Members were asked for their ideas – Graham Rock agreed to contact “103 The Eye” for a possible tour of the
station.

Last Month…
At our December meeting we held our annual photographic competition. Once again, although not as many en-
tries as we have had in the past, the quality of photograph on display was again of the highest order and drew
much praise from our Judge from the Melton Photographic society, Arthur Payne.
There were 6 categories to enter, with a maximum of 3 photographs per person in each category. Bob Eagle had
set us some challenging and thought-provoking categories as usual and you all rose to the challenge.
Arther considered each photo and gave much positive feedback on how to make the pictures even better. Over
the year, his comments have been very useful and I am sure, are reflected in the quality of photographs on dis-
play.
