Note – a standard electric bar fire is rated at around 1.5 – 2 KW. One of these machines will keep you nice
and toasty in the winter – your electricity bill will be rather high though.
It is probably worth noting that Iceland is the current mining capitol of the world with its abundant supply of
very cheap thermal energy produced electricity for next to nothing.
