My car, a Ford Puma, relies on the key fob to do everything!!! So, when the car indicated a new battery was
needed very soon, I thought it was better to do it now rather than later. In the past, changing a battery in a key
fob was pretty straight forward. In this case, reading the user manual (who does that?), indicated the procedure,
           albeit a bit fiddly.

Perhaps YouTube had a visual demonstration, which it did.

An excellent little video showing the correct procedure without damaging the internal circuit board and more
importantly, without stabbing myself with the screwdriver.

There are loads of small help videos like this – you may have to look at a few to find the best for you.

Ever had to fit a car child seat – not for the faint hearted the first time you attempt it.
In my case, a large box duly arrived from my daughter containing a Joli Spin 360 Car Seat. A bit of a monster,
but once fitted, the 360 movement save straining your back when placing or removing your loved one. The
Video is very comprehensive and gives all you need to fit the seat.

YouTube will probably have the answer to a pressing issue. But beware there is an awful lot of dross there as
well. It is essential to look at a few videos when trying to find a solution. That said, the answer to a problem is
probably there somewhere and in a language you can understand.

                                    Photo Competition 2024

We hope you have all had a good summer break and have been out and about with your camera. Here is a re-
minder of the topics for this years photographic competition which are listed below.
As was discussed and mentioned in the AGM minutes last year’s competition showed up an anomaly with AI
produced results (albeit declared prior to judging).

Members felt that there ought to be a separate unjudged category for declared AI produced pictures to maintain
           the spirit of the competition.

We have not discussed and finalised how this category will work but when we have finalised the details we
           will publish in the newsletter.
