Modelling Through The Ages Update

Those of you who came to the meeting last August will remember the excellent presentation that Mick Hib-
bins gave us on his 3D printed models he has made which included Stephenson’s Rocket. Well Mick has
been busy again this winter. His latest model of Stephenson’s Locomotion which took him six months to
produce.is pictured below. He has refined the puffer mechanism and he now uses two vapes with a small
motor which produces a very realistic puffing action. Mick has a YouTtube channel which has a number of
short video clips that show his models actually working just do a search for “Michael Hibbins YouTube” and
it should take you to his collection of videos.
