A little bit of WIFI history.
Below is an additional method of measuring wi-fi signal strength on Windows 10 & 11, using the Powershell. The
command is : ntsh wlan show interfaces
this produces the result shown in the slide -, of which the bottom 7 results are the most useful.
This application could be used on a laptop walking around the property to give room by room results
Finally, there is a list of the Wi-Fi standards over the years.
