It is with much regret that we have to inform you that Keith Allen passed away at the age of 93
th
on the 24 November.
Keith had been a long-time member of the Computer Club and thoroughly enjoyed our monthly
meetings and the companionship of fellow members.

In his time, Keith was an avid Ham Radio enthusiast who was always on the lookout for software
that would enhance his hobby. He was also a keen genealogist and once, before the general

availability of genealogy software, brought along a paper copy of his family tree going back to, if
th
my memory serves me correctly, the 17 Century. It is no exaggeration to say that the paper
copy covered most of the room.
Always a keen member of the club., Keith often set us challenges to come up with some solution

to a particular issue he had come across.
Keith had been very poorly for sometime and will be missed by all who knew him. His son is hop-
ing to have a memorial service for friends and family once the current Covid crisis is over. We will
keep you notified.
